Kalkion Launches Fiction-X

This is the era of the so-called 'Web 2.0' phenomenon and Kalkion is creating a new platform where writers may publish their stories without any 'interference' by our editors. This new platform is called – Fiction-X.

If you think that your story is clean and it doesn't need to pass through any editing process, – Fiction-X is for you.

The core focus of 'selfy-publishing' Fiction-X is to enable writers to tell their stories in their 'own' words and style. This will enable writers to publish their work immediately and share it with colleagues and friends.

Fiction-X writers will also get an opportunity to create their Biography pages on Kalkion.

Those who want to go through the traditional process can use the regular submission process where stories can be submitted to our editors and they will be published after reviewing, editing and proper formatting - along with an illustration.

The stories posted under Fiction-X will appear in a separate section. These stories will not be added in the RSS Feeds or the Newsletters. Only 'edited' stories, which are submitted through the traditional model, will be added to these and similar promotional services.

You are also encouraged to join our social networks and talk about your Fiction-X stories there. If the need arises, we may also open a Forum section in future to enable writers and readers to interact with each other.

Currently, the registration to this service is available through an application. You can apply to register and a team of editors will review your application. If your application is accepted you will be informed through email. The mail will also carry your username and password. You will be required to verify your account through a separate email. Once your account is verified you can start posting stories and news.

While we will not moderate the content, we will randomly monitor it. If any content is found to violate our terms and conditions, it will be removed from the site. If we find recurring violations after an emailed warning, your account will be terminated.

Be careful while posting a story. Once published you will NOT be able to edit it. Do not put any code or images in the text. The service is live so do not post any 'Test' or demo stories.
