Shastri JC Philip, Science Editor - Physics, kalkion,  is a physicist whose first love is physics and physics-communication. He is a product (BSc, MSc, PhD) of the Jiwaji University in Gwalior, MP. In addition, he also holds MTh/ThD (Apologetics), DSc (Alternative Medicines) and DNYS.degrees. He has taught his favorite subjects in several Indian and non Indian institutions.
 
He has been published in several Indian and non Indian languages in the fields of physics, electronics, information technology, print-media-communication, counseling, and apologetics. He has close to 70 books and 7000 articles to his credit.
 
He is retired and spends his time mostly in popularizing physics, Indian numismatics, and Hindi.
