What You Can Do

1. Post anything related to science, science fiction, fantasy and horror.

2. You can also talk about you own work as long as it doesn't endorse any competing site or encourage users to join them.

What You Must Not Do

1. Your post must not contain explicit sexual, erotic content, or graphic violence.

2. Do not post anything which may:

(a) Breach any security, or encourage the same.

(b) Disclose sensitive information/data about an individual or organisation.

(c) Offend, accuse an individual or organisation.

(d) Display bias/discrimination towards -- Gender, Race, Nationality, Religion, Cast, Creed, Community, etc..

3. Kalkion believes in knowledge sharing and endorses Free Software movement (Freeso), so please do not post content which may endorse any proprietary or closed source technology/philosophy.

4. Do not put any code or advertisement tags in the content, these will be deleted automatically.

5. Don't intentionally click on the ads appearing on Kalkion to increase clicks.

6. Don't encourage users to click on the ads appearing on Kalkion.

Termination of Account & Deletion of posts

We firmly believe that a contributors will adhere to the policies of Kalkion and work towards enriching the genre. However in case of any complaint from readers, we will take several steps.

1. The panel will scrutinize the content and if found offensive, as accused, we will un-publish the content.

2. We will inform the author about the nature of the content, and seek correction. If the author makes necessary changes the content will be re-published.

3. In case we fail to hear from the author in a month's time, we will delete the content.

4. In case there are recurring complaints about the content, we will initiate a discussion with the author and if we do not reach an agreement the account will be terminated permanently.

Fiction-X

Fiction-X is user generated, un-edited content. We randomly monitor the content, but Kalkion.com cannot be hold responsible for any inappropriate content. In case you find one, you can always FLAG the content which will bring it in our radar. All the content published in the Fiction-X section is goverened the Creative Common Licences mentioned here: Copyright and Licences.
 

Disclaimer
