Andrew Iddon gives the classic good versus evil story a futuristic twist in his new science fiction novel, “The Regime: Resurrection” Set far into the future in a fictional galaxy, “The Regime” introduces readers to Greg Simons, a sergeant of the mighty Imperium. A good man and brave soldier, Sergeant Simons struggles with low-self esteem and feels as though he’s always living in the shadow of his father, a decorated war hero who has never respected him.
As Sergeant Simons struggles to find confidence in himself, trouble is brewing. One man, whose hatred for any being he believes to be inferior, has resurrected the Nazi Party. With the help of a council of sadistic, demented Nazi supporters, genocide is launched against all sentient life opposing the new Reich and the future of the Aryan race.
With the future of the galaxy’s inhabitants at stake, Sergeant Simons is the only person with the courage and will to fight back. Defeating this cunning new enemy will test him on many levels. Will he be able to move swiftly enough to save billions from the horror that is about to be unleashed?
“My novel takes place in the far future but it covers things like cloning, space travel and the use of holograms which are all being worked on today,” Iddon explains. “It also has a few modern subjects as well like with one organization in the novel; Universal Incorporated, who basically has the entire human galaxy in their wallets, mimicking big businesses today.”

Andrew Iddon wrote “The Regime” when he was 17 years old and he is currently working on the sequel. A graduate of the Algonquin College for Television Broadcasting, he is also a stand-up comedian and hardcore gamer. He lives in Brockville, Ontario, Canada.
