Wesley Snipes' last film he shot prior to his incarceration, Gallowwalkers, is set for its World Premiere in London’s West End, October 27th 2012.
This is the film Snipes was in the midst of shooting in Namibia when he was indicted on tax-dodging charges with a warrant issued for his arrest. Snipes leaped into action and flew into his hometown of Orlando on a private jet and voluntarily turned himself in and declared his innocence. After coughing up one million US in bail he was allowed to return to Africa to finish the film.
The film, described as a, 'cowboy wild west-zombie mash-up' sees Snipes as a mysterious gunslinger Aman, the son of a nun who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. This act brings a curse upon Aman. The curse: all those who die by his hand shall return to hunt him. Snipes is forced to blast his way through the old west, hunted by a gang of his undead former victims, led by the vicious Kansa.
Sadly Snipes will not be attending the event as he is still behind bars till the summer of 2013, where a stack of action thrillers set in prison, will be waiting for him.
