Principal photography has been completed on Season 1 of the horror series Chopper, featuring international fright icons Tyler Mane (Michael Myers, Halloween) and Andrew Bryniarski (Leatherface, Texas Chainsaw Massacre). Chopper will launch independently via online platforms including YouTube and Blip.tv starting October 18th as an eight episode, two-week-long run leading up to Halloween.
Series writer/producer/director J.C. Christofilis has been building buzz since mid-summer by releasing bonus, transmedia-style content through social media and promotional videos that have already surpassed 1 million cumulative views. In addition to showcasing two of the horror genre's biggest stars, Chopper's rocking ensemble cast will also feature Victor Newmark (Sons of Anarchy), Ruth "Ruthless" Pineda (LA Ink), ex-Biohazard singer Evan Seinfeld (Oz), comedian Quinn Dahle (Conan O'Brien) and MMA legend John Lewis -- alongside special appearances from heavy metal bands including Unearth, Straight Line Stitch and Machine Head.

In essence, Chopper is a contemporary spin on the timeless Sleepy Hollow mythology. Storylines revolve around a headless outlaw biker seeking vengeance in the afterlife by killing mortal sinners. The project's creative team includes contributions from Nina Bargiel -- transmedia producer of MTV's hit online horror series Valemont -- and countless other Hollywood veterans.
True horror and heavy metal aficionados will also have an opportunity to further immerse themselves into the overall Chopper experience by joining Chopper's fan club, hosted on the crowd-funding website Kickstarter. The initiative will support producing additional transmedia content designed to further engage and excite our most devoted fans and drive additional word-of-mouth awareness for the webseries' launch.
